The environmental benefits of growing your own veggies are amazing. Planting your own vegetables means you can ensure they are organic and healthy. And getting your food out of your own garden cuts the carbon emissions that would have been required to bring your food from the farm to the store to your table.

We are becoming far more aware of the necessity of growing our own herbs and vegetables, either in a separate Potager, or combined with their existing garden set up. These gardens must not only be aesthetically pleasing but, in addition should be extremely functional.

Imagine going into your garden and having all your favourite vegetables and herbs,  growing with healthy raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, gooseberries, asparagus, rhubarb and plenty of deliciously flavoured salad leaves. Imagine going into your local store and not needing anything in the vegetable department?

Bridget has been creating Organic herb and vegetable gardens, including indigenous gardens, for a host of clients over many years.
